Jen was raised atop the beautiful Puyallup Valley in Washington State. Originally trained in cosmetology, she moved to the Minneapolis metro for a salon but ended up spending a decade in restaurant management. In fact, a significant amount of time traveling and managing for several Rock Bottom Brewery locations. However, she has chosen to remain in Minnesota for love and culture. She thrives on asking hard questions, big thinking, visualizing the larger picture, and long-term goals.
Jen entered real estate in 2005 through investment in property, and only became an agent in 2013. She has owned several rental properties in Minneapolis and the surrounding metro. Currently, she manages the Marketing & Communications of Katey Bean & Company, which allows her to utilize her considerable skills in design, social media marketing, and client care. Jen is passionate about affordable housing, helping people attain stability through housing, educating clients on the nitty-gritty of real estate, and helping others achieve their long-term goals.
Jen thrives on creativity and utilizing her resourcefulness to better serve clients and a sense of community. Currently, she lives in Cottage Grove with her husband Terry and 2 children. She is an avid runner who trains for several races every year. This self-proclaimed bibliophile always has her nose in a book, and it is her dream to one day own an orchard.
